How to Watch the 2026 World Baseball Classic Without Cable TV
By A Faster PC | Serving Florida's Treasure Coast, Space Coast & South Florida
Before you call your cable company and beg them to turn back on that $180-a-month package just so you can watch the 2026 World Baseball Classic — stop. Don't do it. In this guide, we're going to show you every single way to watch the 2026 World Baseball Classic live in HD without cable TV. And some of these options won't cost you a single penny.
We're talking about 47 games, 20 countries, and the best baseball players on the planet. Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, Shohei Ohtani, Fernando Tatis Jr. — all of them on the field starting March 5th, with the championship game on March 17th in Miami, Florida. This is baseball's version of the World Cup, and you are not going to miss it.
What Is the 2026 World Baseball Classic?
The 2026 World Baseball Classic is the sixth edition of the tournament. It features 20 national teams competing across four host cities: Tokyo, San Juan, Miami, and Houston, Texas.
Here is the full tournament schedule:
- Pool Play: March 5–11
- Quarterfinals: March 13–14
- Semifinals: March 15–16
- Championship Game: March 17 (St. Patrick's Day) at Loan Depot Park in Miami, Florida
In the United States, every single one of the 47 games is being broadcast by the Fox Sports family of networks on Fox, FS1, FS2, Fox Deportes, and select games will also air on Tubi. The question isn't whether you can watch — it's how. And that's exactly what we're breaking down.
What Device Do You Need to Stream?
If you're cutting the cord, you need a way to get streaming apps onto your TV. Here are the most popular and affordable options:
Roku — One of the best plug-and-play streaming sticks and boxes on the market. The Roku Streaming Stick runs under $30. Plug it into your TV's HDMI port, connect to Wi-Fi, and you're ready to go. Every service mentioned in this guide is available on Roku.
Amazon Firestick — A fantastic option, especially if you're already in the Amazon ecosystem. Easy setup, great interface, and it supports all major streaming apps.
Apple TV — If you're an iPhone or Mac user, Apple TV is the premium option. It's more expensive, but performance is excellent and it integrates seamlessly with your Apple devices.
Google TV (Chromecast) — A sleek, affordable device that organizes all your streaming apps in one place. Works great with Android phones.
It's also worth noting that many modern TVs come preloaded with Roku, Amazon Fire TV, or Google TV built right in, so you may already have what you need.
Free Ways to Watch the 2026 World Baseball Classic
Option 1: Tubi (100% Free)
Tubi is a free, ad-supported streaming service that is carrying select 2026 World Baseball Classic games. No subscription, no credit card required. You can download Tubi on Roku, Firestick, Apple TV, Google TV, or watch directly in a web browser.
Tubi will be streaming WBC games on March 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11. If you want to watch international pool play games without spending a dime, Tubi is your starting point.
Option 2: Digital Antenna (Free Over-the-Air TV)
This is the most overlooked option, and it may be the most powerful one. A digital antenna plugs directly into your TV and picks up your local Fox affiliate over the air — completely free, with no internet required.
Team USA's biggest games are on Fox, including:
- March 6 — USA vs. Brazil
- March 7 — USA vs. Great Britain
- March 9 — USA vs. Mexico
- March 10 — USA vs. Italy
- March 17 — Championship Game
A decent indoor antenna costs between $20 and $40 and works well if you're reasonably close to a broadcast tower. For the best results, we recommend an outdoor antenna mounted on a 20-foot pole. Here in Florida, the flat terrain means some of our customers have picked up stations from as far as 100 miles away.
Paid Streaming Options for the 2026 World Baseball Classic
Option 3: Fox One (Fox's Own Streaming Service)
Fox One is Fox's dedicated streaming platform, giving you access to Fox, FS1, FS2, Fox Deportes, and the Fox Sports app all in one place. All 47 WBC games are available to stream live and on demand. If you want one focused service for this tournament without committing to a full live TV bundle, this is the cleanest, most direct option. Fox Nation can also be added as an optional subscription for additional content not available on Fox's broadcast or cable networks.
Option 4: Hulu + Live TV (~$82.99/month)
Hulu's live TV tier includes Fox, FS1, and FS2, and comes bundled with Disney Plus and ESPN Unlimited. If you have a family and want more than just the WBC, this is an excellent value. Hulu Plus Live TV currently offers a free trial for new subscribers.
Option 5: YouTube TV (~$72.99/month)
YouTube TV is one of the cleanest and most reliable cable replacement services available. It includes Fox, FS1, and FS2 — everything you need for the WBC — plus unlimited DVR storage so you can record games and watch them later. YouTube TV offers a trial period for new members.
Option 6: Fubo (~$79.99/month)
Fubo was built specifically for sports fans. It carries Fox, FS1, FS2, and Fox Deportes, and was designed for exactly this kind of tournament-style sports coverage. If you love sports beyond baseball, Fubo is worth a serious look. Free trials are available for new subscribers.
Option 7: Sling TV (~$40–$45/month)
Sling is the most budget-friendly live TV streaming service on this list. Sling Blue includes FS1 and FS2, and Fox may be available depending on your market. It's the best choice if you want to keep costs low while still catching most of the WBC action.
Option 8: DirecTV Stream (~$79.99/month)
DirecTV Stream is a premium option that carries Fox, FS1, and FS2 across most of its plans. It's a strong choice if you want a robust channel lineup and a familiar TV-like experience without a satellite dish.
Quick Cheat Sheet: Which Option Is Right for You?

- Want Fox-only streaming? — Subscribe to Fox One directly
- Want a full channel lineup on a budget? — Sling TV on Roku or Firestick
- Want the best sports experience? — Fubo TV on any device
- Want the best all-around value? — YouTube TV or Hulu Plus Live TV
